            Technology Education promotes the application of knowledge, machines, tools, and materials to solve technical problems.  Students will focus on introductory experiences in construction, manufacturing, transportation, and communication technologies. Instruction and problem solving experiences will center on the use of tools, machines, and materials to solve technological problems.

Required Materials for Class

 

You are required to bring the following materials with you to class everyday.

    1. Passport
    2. Number 2 pencil.
    3. Folder for handouts and activity sheets
    4. Optional, buying your own OSHA approved safety glasses.  Safety glasses will be provided.

Grading

 

            The grade for the quarter will be based on student performance in written assignments, problem solving activities, and laboratory experiences.  This course will use the following grading system:          

 

  O = outstanding                    100% - 85%

                          S  = satisfactory                    84% - 70%

                          N = needs improvement       69% - 60%

                          U = unsatisfactory                59% - 0%
