Middle school band will meet three times a cycle during the wildcat period.  All band students will also have sectional lessons on a rotation basis during the school day.  The band performs two concerts a year, spring and fall.  We also participate in the Dallastown Community Memorial Day Parade.  

Our small group wind ensemble is an advanced groups which meets once a week before school... This group performs at Hershey Bear's games, Revs games, pep rallies, and other school functions.  They also have an adjudicated performance at Hershey Park at the end of the school year. 

The Jazz band in the MS is by audition only.  Students will audition in December and rehearsals are Friday's after school from January through May.  This group performs at several local jazz festivals, and at Cherry Lane in downtown York.

The percussion ensemble meets from October through May after school on Thursday's.  They perform at the spring concert, volleyball games, the night of arts and culture and for the incoming 6th graders at their orientation here at the MS.  This group is run by Mr. Zane Ruth.
