Shake & Bake Your Way Around the Kitchen
This course teaches the fundamentals every cook needs to know to function in the kitchen. We learn about kitchen equipment & utensils, cooking terminology, recipe reading, kitchen math & measuring, as well as, completing several cooking labs. Students also view teacher demonstrations and sample various foods.

A Healthy You
Learn about nutrition and how to prepare healthy snacks. We will learn about the current Food Guide-MyPlate, the 6 major nutrients and how they function in your body, portion and serving size, product labeling and Nutrition Facts Labeling.Students will also view teacher demonstrations and sample various foods. Students will also participate in snack labs to prepare healthy snacks.
