As a team of teachers, Team Inspiration strives to instill in our
students certain life skills that will not only make them successful
students but also successful members of our society. Some of those
expectations are as follows:
1. To actively listen while the teacher or other students are speaking
2. To positively participate in all classroom activities
3. To stay on task without distracting other students
4. To raise hand in order to be recognized to speak
5. To complete all assignments
6. To come to class prepared and on time
7. To accept group role and responsibility
In
order to monitor each student’s progress in the seven skills listed
above, Team Inspiration utilizes a daily Citizenship Log. This log allows
us to reward students who continually display the necessary skills to
be successful yet also offers us the opportunity to track students who
may need reinforcement in some of these areas.
The Citizenship Log works in the following manner:
Students
are each given one point per day in each team class. Students who are
not being good citizens in any of the areas above lose a Citizenship
Point. Students who are good citizens that day retain their points for
the day in that class. We as a team feel this is a great way to reward
those students who do the right thing day in and day out. It also helps
us keep track of students who need to work on the seven areas of our
citizenship policy.
Should you have any questions or concerns
about the Team Inspiration Citizenship Log, please contact a team teacher
via email or phone (244-4022).
Sincerely,
Team Inspiration
