Welcome from Mrs. Ebersole

Mrs. Shannon Ebersole
Hello! I'm Mrs. Ebersole and  I am pleased to welcome you to Dallastown Area Middle School.
I have been teaching in Dallastown School District for over twenty years. I am also a graduate of Dallastown. I knew when I was in 7th grade that I wanted to be a FACS teacher! I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) Punxsutawney campus my 1st year of college and then transferred to main campus for my remaining college years. I graduated with honors and returned to Dallastown immediately following graduation to start my teaching career. I taught seven years in the high school , before moving into my current middle school position.  I furthered my education by receiving my Master's Degree in 2010 from Penn State University and I have also taken many course through Millersville University. I guess you could say I love to teach and learn!

I Love Dallastown. I grew up on Main Street in Dallastown and currently still live in the district. On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, James since 2003 and we have  one son, Cameron, born in 2008. We also have a  Shih Tzu, named Tulip.

In my spare time, I love to be at the Beach, reading a good book, or studying the Bible. Of course, I LOVE to cook and my husband is a chef by trade, so we do a lot of cooking at our house. We love to entertain and have friends and family over to hang out by the pool and our backyard pond. I enjoy helping others and making people happy. Volunteering is also very special to me.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing my love and passion for all things food! Bon Appetit!
